Goldfish in the water cooler, salt in the coffee - yes it's that time of year again. On Thursday's morning, more than 1/3 of office workers may find themselves the target of an April Fools' Day prank...will you be one of them?

Your Fashion Sense Is Harmful To Your Health
REMINDER! fashion and ill health often go hand in hand.
Killer heels push the body forward, forcing the hips and spine out of alignment and cause knee, back and calf muscle pain. Narrow toes can be blamed for bunions and pinched nerves.

Earth Hour
when? Saturday March 27
time? 1 hour duration from 8:30 to 9:30 pm
what to do? turn off your lights, appliances, computers and video games
why? to save the earth
*Compilation of Research Facts* It takes equivalent of one tree to produce 300 cigarettes + one of eight trees cut down each year worldwide = nearly 600 million trees are being destroyed for tobacco production = deforestation + land erosion + greenhouse gas emissions + global warming + world destruction + etc. We all know that quitting smoking it's not easy...but at least show some supports for the earth hour to butt out when the lights are out...BUTT OUT PLEASE!!!

Protect Yourself From Fraud
March is Fraud Prevention Month, which is a good time to focus on how you can help protect yourself through good banking and shopping habits.
Although banks have sophisticated fraud prevention centers that work with local law enforcement to investigate fraud and find those responsible, it's in your best interest to follow some simple steps to protect yourself against fraud:
1) Shred before recycling - one of the best way to protect yourself from identity theft is to shred or destroy your transaction records, bills and bank statements when you no longer needed.
2) Your PIN is your secret - selecting a personal identification number (PIN) that's easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess is one way you can ensure your banking information remains secure. Avoid the obvious like your telephone number or date of birth. Additionally, shield the keypad everywhere you use your debit card and never give out your PIN over phone, internet, or by email. No one should know you PIN but you - not event your bank knows it.
3) Guard your cards - Unless you are the one initiated the call, don't give out your credit card number over the phone and never send the number by email, even to your family members. Email is not secure and it is possible for others to see what you are transmitting.
4) Never respond to an email request for personal or account information - reputable merchants will not ask you to confirm your credit card details by email. Enter your credit card number through secure website only. Also, watch out for "phishing", where you receive a fake email that looks like it is from your bank asking you to confirm your personal information. If you receive something like this, delete the message and do not open any attachments. Also, note that your financial institution would never request personal information through email.

After A Smelly Winter,Time To Freshen Up!
ADD NICE SMELLS:
1. Bake cookies or bread.
2. Boil cut up lemons or oranges, a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg or vanilla - simmer.
3. Soak a cotton ball with lemon, orange, vanilla, peppermint extract or oil of cloves. Place in a small, clean jar, punch holes in the lid, and leave in an unobtrusive place.
4. Put out fresh flowers.
5. Purchase a few live potted plants, as they filter smells.
6. Burn beeswax candles.
7. Consider downsizing kitchen compost or garbage, and remove it frequently.
8. Don't allow smoking in your home, as smoking smells are not easily eliminated.
Microwave stinking up your food?
Tip - try microwaving 4/5 cloves abd a 1/2 cup of chopped lemon with some of water. Microwave until the water boils. Let the solution sit until the water cools. Wipe down the walls and leave the door open to air it out...
