Water Can Do Wonders For You


What water does to your body and skin?
1) Water helps to flush out the by products of fat breakdown. This process is essential for people trying to lose weight as water dilutes the waste products, allowing them to be removed from the body more rapidly.
2) Dehydration means that body does not have sufficient water to carry in with bodily functions as normal, leading to some unpleasant feelings. Symptoms include fatigue, headaches, dizziness, thirst, and muscles spasms.
3) Water can act as an effective appetite suppressant. A common mistake is confusing hunger pangs for thirst. Drinking a glass of water when the feeling first manifests itself will help you realize which one it is you are feeling.
4) Be careful when choosing liquids - tea and coffee are powerful diuretics, excessive consumption will cause you to lose a lot of water.
5) Water is calorie free, so you can drink as much as you like.
6) In order to get perfect skin you must not only be hydrating externally, but internally. Drinking lots of water, or alternatively, eating fruit or vegetables with a high water content is one of the best things you can do for your skin. Water will make your skin look more plump and radiant thanks to the added moisture.

The human body is made up between 55 and 75 per cent water and constantly needs to be replenished if the body is to function at its best. On average, people should aim to drink 2 liters daily in order to replace natural fluid loss (ie through sweating, breathing, etc).
